Happy Valentine Day Ho's!!





Hope you all get a little something something from your Valentine today, personally I don't get it (valentine's day) at all. Bill gets all worked up and usually buys me some gawd awful chocolates, you know the ones with all the bullshit inside them , and yes he will eventually eat all of them even the ones that taste like crap.   Along with the candy will come a horrid sappy over the top card that always has a rose printed on the outside of it. That's the way he rolls. and, of course we all know that if your honey starts showering you with some damn gifts, and in most cases concerning myself, a piece of ass or a damn blowjob is expected later that evening as a token of appreciation. Which I for one think is to damn a high price to pay for a busted ass card from Walmart.
But, anyho. That's the way love goes right?

So, I just thank gawd Bill is away in Texas today. Yes, he did call me bright and early telling me just how much he loves and appreciates me and so on and on. You know I did cut him off at the pass and tell him I fell for that bait and hump a long long time ago.

On a lighter note, I finally made it home last night and it was filled with a rush of activities.
I'm going to spend the next two or three days getting everything I need done to make up for the 7 weeks I've been out on the road.
We have a rush of Birthdays around here too. My niece turned 15 yesterday, and Bill has his big day in a couple of days.
so much to do..

P.S. and for those who became sick or experienced motion sickness watching my sideways video, I apologize I've been trying to learn how to use more of the apps on my smart phone. That is what I'm calling a dry run.

Also not into Hallmark Holidays around here but *never* turn down an opportunity to consume chocolate!! So bought candy hearts (the four seaters) for The Engineer and two kids at home. Sent Eldest a Starbucks card.

Glad you are stationary for a while. Well, as stationary as you can get.

i can do without the holiday AND the chocolate. i think the closest thing to a token of affection that would win my heart would be a KFC popcorn chicken bowl and you can get that damn thing 365 days a year......

I've learned a lot in the last few years. One thing is my ability to keep moving forward regardless of what's happening around me.  My sister is terminal, a lifer.   She's now 46 and her youngest just turned 10.  6 years ago it was breast cancer and  lymph nodes. HOWDY!!

Is anybody out there???? Everyone has left the blogs for facebook, including me. Well I'm back for at least this post. I'm no longer driving a truck. Bill and I live in Monte Vista, a historic district within the city limits of San Antonio, Texas. Number 9 has moved to the Houston Area along with all her kids in tow. Texas was where we grew up and it appears we left for all the right reasons. Getting back to the neanderthal ways of life are a huge adjustment but trust me, I'm having a much easier time than #9. She has been bombarded by southern Baptist at every turn and it has been a trying time for her to readjust. Back in June I was hurt on the job in Ohio and required a 10 day hospital stay followed by several months of therapy. I'm just now almost back at where I began and hopefully by the middle of the new year, I'll be good as new again. Why the move??several. Oh gawd, What a week already. I did some things around the house but sleeping has become the norm, when I'm not eating. So. On the 26th, it will be one year since #9 shot across the sky in rocking light of fire. It was Friday, just about noon on that day when I whispered in her ear and ask if this was it. She said three words. I love you. Gone like that. On Friday that week she was in Phoenix at the Cancer Center of America. Walking, Talking and doing her thing. Although the news was shitty as hell and they said she would be needing to check in to hospice centers back in Texas, she walked to the airplane, flew back to Texas and walked to her car at the airport. She was a tough old broad as Mom would say. She called me on her journey home to tell me the news and what they had advised her to do. It was a tough talk but we had it.
