Inspect yourself.
Hos it's that time of year again.
June 7th-9th the CVSA (commercial vehicle safety alliance) launches it nationwide inspection of commercial vehicles.
What is it. What does it mean to Tug?
Well the CVSA sets up checkpoint stations across the nation to inspect commercial truck and trailers. They make absolutely sure that the roads are safe from defective trucks and drivers. Yes they inspect the drivers too! They rummage through your truck and check your credentials.
Oh gawd it so much fun.
If you and your truck passes then off you go. If not? Oy vey. Shit will hit the fan and heads will roll.
If your truck/trailer fails you will be required to either fix it on the spot, or if it's severe, have your truck towed to a facility to fix it. Tickets and fines are a must so bring lots of cash if your a sloppy Ho. It's sort of like a strip club, without the strippers, the pole, the drinks etc... Trust me Ho, you will make it rain if your whip is junk.
If you fail as a driver? Pack your shit, because most likely you will be walking or hitching a ride home.
Look I'm all for this stuff and it absolutely means nothing to Tug , hell I have no option but to run compliant but hos here the part that eats at me.
The CVSA has several "volunteers" that man the checkpoints with actual law enforcement.
Why does this bother me? Well most of them are just regular ho's who want to volunteer.
It would be like me going out with Miss Ginger and helping her decide what collection of shoes to purchase for the fall season.
It half ass works.
Whoop there it is.
Anyho that's it
So get your shit together and make damn sure your stuff is right.
Or else.
Nobody likes to get screwed.
